Watch boasts shows from several publishers including Vox, Buzzfeed, Discovery Communications (DISCA) - Get Report , Walt Disney's (DIS) - Get Report ABC, as well as live sporting events including MLB and college football games.
The move comes as the company increasingly tries to drive ad dollars from video content.
Facebook will pay $10,000-$35,000 for shorter form shows and up to $250,000 for longer form scripted shows, Reuters reported in May.
Shares of Facebook were rising in mid-morning trading on Thursday.
