Facebook (FB) - Get Facebook, Inc. Class A Report on Thursday introduced its users to the new "Watch" feature, the social media giant's video streaming service allowing anyone to submit a video.

Watch boasts shows from several publishers including Vox, Buzzfeed, Discovery Communications (DISCA) - Get Discovery, Inc. Class A Report , Walt Disney's (DIS) - Get Walt Disney Company Report ABC, as well as live sporting events including MLB and college football games.

The move comes as the company increasingly tries to drive ad dollars from video content.

Facebook will pay $10,000-$35,000 for shorter form shows and up to $250,000 for longer form scripted shows, Reuters reported in May.
