College basketball fans rejoice.
The agreement builds upon Stadium's partnership with Facebook which began this fall and featured a package of college football games. Thirteen of the 15 games amassed nearly 10 million total views and over 70,000 real-time comments from fans viewing the games live.
This new college basketball deal extends through March and will feature matchups from the Mountain West, West Coast Conference, Conference USA, and the Atlantic 10 conferences.
"Stadium is thrilled to continue its partnership with Facebook after the overwhelming success of our football package," said Adam Anshell, Senior VP of Properties for Stadium. "We are able to reach new fans and engage with them in ways that are only possible on a platform like Facebook, and now we're able to share that experience across an amazing slate of college basketball games."
Shares of Facebook were rising during Thursday morning trading.
