Revenue for the quarter was $77.8 million, up from $25.8 million last year. Excluding items, the company earned $9 million, or 9 cents a share. Analysts expected a profit of 5 cents on revenue of $79.3 million. For the year, the company expects revenue in the range of $255 million to $271 million, versus Wall Street's forecast of $263 million. The stock was up 99 cents, or 3.82%, to $26.90 in after-hours trading.

said it earned $753.8 million, or 47 cents a share, on revenue of $5.9 billion for the second quarter ended Jun 30.This compares with earnings of $717 million, or 41 cents, or revenue of $5.4 billion a year ago. Analysts polled by Thomson Fist Call expected a profit of 46 cents a share on revenue of $5.74 billion. The stock was down 56 cents, or 1.64%, to $33.51 in after-hours trading, while its B shares were unchanged at $33.87.

reported earnings of $111 million, or 87 cents a share, for the fourth quarter ended June 30, versus $90.3 million, or 68 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter increased 14% to $1.2 billion from $1.06 billion last year. According to Thomson First Call, analysts expected a profit of 86 cents a share on revenue of $1.19 billion. The stock was up $4.30, or 8.5%, to $54.90 in after-hours trading.

Pixar Animation Studios

said it earned $12.7 million, or 10 cents a share, for the second quarter ended July 2, compared with $37.4 million, or 32 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter fell to $26.5 million from $66.3 million last year. Analysts expected earnings of 10 cents a share on revenue of $31.4 million. The stock was up 13 cents, or 0.32%, to $41.38 in after-hours trading.

Network Appliance

(NTAP) - Get Report

warned that its first quarter financial results would be below its previous estimates due to slow sales of a new product. The company now expects earnings of 15 cents or 16 cents a share, down from its prior guidance of 16 cents or 17 cents a share. Network Appliance now expects revenue of $446 million to $449 million, down from $465 million to $479 million. Analysts expected earnings of 18 cents a share on revenue of $474 million, according to Thomson First Call. The stock was down $1, or 3.92%, to $24.50 in after-hours trading.
