The on-line retailer reported revenue for the quarter of $1.75 billion. Analyst expected earnings of 10 cents a share on revenue of $1.73 billion, according to Thomson First Call. Looking ahead, the company expects full year revenue of $8.275 billion to $8.675 billion, compared with Wall Street's forecast of $8.4 billion.

Flextronics

reported earnings of $58.7 million, or 10 cents a share, for the first quarter ended June 30, down from $74.3 million, or 13 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $3.9 billion. Excluding certain items, the company earned $99.6 million, or 17 cents a share. Analysts polled by Thomson First Call expected a profit of 16 cents a share on revenue of $3.8 billion. For the third quarter, Flextronics expects to earn 18 cents to 21 cents a share on sales of $3.8 billion to $4.2 billion. Analysts were expecting 19 cents a share on $4.19 billion.

reported a loss of $202,000, or a breakeven on a per-share basis, for the third quarter ended July 2, versus earnings of $11.3 million, or 2 cents a share, a year ago. The electronics contract manufacturer said revenue for the quarter was $2.83 billion. Excluding certain items, the company earned $24.4 million, or 5 cents a share. Analysts expected earnings of 6 cents a share on revenue of $2.9 billion, according to Thomson First Call. For the fourth quarter, Sanmina expects to earn, excluding items, 4 cents to 6 cents a share on revenue of $2.65 billion to $2.80 billion, compared with analysts forecast of 8 cents a share on sales of $3 billion.

( GYI) posted a profit of $34 million, or 53 cents a share, for the second quarter ended June 30, compared with $25.2 million, or 41 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the second quarter was $185.3 million. Excluding certain items, the company earned 58 cents a share. Analysts expected a profit of 49 cents a share on sales of $180.6 million, according to Thomson First Call. For the year, the imagery company expects to earn $2.20 to $2.26 a share on sales in the range of $728 million to $735 million. Wall Street was forecasting a profit of $2.19 a share on revenue of $728.3 million.

reported a loss of $42.6 million, or 9 cents a share, for the second quarter ended June 30, versus net income of $11.7 million, or 2 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $412.2 million, down from $420.8 million last year. According to Thomson First Call, analysts expected a loss of 6 cents a share on revenue of $426.9 million. The stock was down 18 cents, or 6.32%, to $2.67 in after-hours trading.
