Two Harbors Investment

(TWO) - Get Report

continued to gain Tuesday after the real estate investment trust raised its quarterly dividend.

Two Harbors, which manages residential mortgage-backed securities, said Monday its board agreed to an 18.2% increase in its quarterly dividend, paying its investors 39 cents per share. This dividend will be payable Oct. 21 to common stockholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 30.

Two Harbor's shares jumped 3.4% on Monday, and rose another 0.9% in morning trading Tuesday.
