
Delta Airlines Considers L.A., New York as Hubs for New Economy Plane
Bombardier's C Series aircraft offer roomier interiors with fewer seats.
Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL) - Get Report is considering placing its hubs for Bombardier Inc.'s (BDRBF) new economy Class C airplanes in New York and Los Angeles, according to an internal memo reviewed by Bloomberg.
The planes feature fewer seats and roomier interiors. allowing airlines to offer more comfortable rides without overstuffing their planes. Delta is the first major airline to purchase the C Series from Montreal-based Bombardier.
The C Series is expected to debut in the second quarter of 2018.
