) -- After a few days of polling, the results are in. And who did readers choose at the first small-cap solar to go in an industry shakeout?

also avoided "winning" the pool that each of these companies would rather lose, hauling in about 24.4% of the vote.
No, after nearly 3,900 reader votes, it was a virtual dead heat with just over 27% of the vote each. But by late Friday,
had just edged out
... by a mere 12 votes.
DayStar, whose shares are trading below a dollar, is down nearly 31% since the year began and, it should be noted, almost 78% since a year ago.
