While North American revenue will be flat, the company said revenue in Japan and the rest of the Asia/Pacific will be up sequentially, while gross margin is tracking around 59% to 60%. According to First Call, the company is expected to post revenue of $290.9 million in the quarter.

Cypress Semiconductor

(CY) - Get Report

"Turns have been slightly better than expected two months into the quarter and are expected to continue at a good pace," it said. "The company expects to post a book-to-bill ratio for

the first quarter of better than 1.0."
