Comdata, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceridian (CEN) - Get Center Coast Brookfield MLP & Energy Infrastructure Fund of Benef Interest Report, said today that it acquired the Culver City, Calif.-based HQ Gift Cards, a provider of mall gift card program management services, for an undisclosed sum.
The Brentwood, Tenn.-based company said that the HQ Gift Cards will be integrated into Comdata's stored value solutions division, which is located in Louisville, Ky.
HQ Gift Cards currently oversees gift card operations in over 200 malls nationwide, the company said.
"Comdata is committed to growing our core business and providing innovative payment solutions to our customers," said the company. "This acquisition allows us to expand our footprint with an adjacent product in the marketplace."
