named Daniel J. Heinrich chief financial officer, to replace Karen M. Rose, who is retiring from the company.

The move is effective Oct. 1. Additionally, Thomas D. Johnson has been named corporate controller, reporting to Heinrich.
Heinrich, 47, joined Clorox in March 2001 as vice president-controller. Rose worked for Clorox for 25 years.
Shares of Clorox closed
New York Stock Exchange
trading at $43.43, up 32 cents on the day.
