Business services giant
is changing its corporate tagline to emphasize its expanding focus.
The company, long identified as a supplier of employee uniforms, says it will now market itself as "Cintas, The Service Professionals." The shift reflects the fact that Cintas' non-uniform customer base has grown to more than half the total customer base.
Along with uniforms, the Cincinnati-based company also provides restroom supply services, entrance mats and dust control services, first aid and safety products, fire protection services, document management and paper shredding, promotional products, and cleanroom apparel and supplies.
"Today, we are much more than The Uniform People," said CEO Scott Farmer. That said, the company's divisions will continue to use the same taglines they have always used in their local markets -- so the 5,000 workers who deliver uniforms will continue to identify themselves as "Cintas, The Uniform People."
Early Thursday, Cintas was flat at $42.10.
