Sales for the five weeks ended July 5 increased 41.7% over the same period last year, to $65.9 million. Comparable-store sales rose 16.5%, while analysts were predicting an 8% gain, according to Briefing.com.
Total sales for the last six months jumped 33.4% to $294.7 million compared with last year's $221 million. Comparable-store sales increased 10.4%.
