, the Middlebury, Conn.-based specialty chemicals manufacturer, said Friday that it was increasing all fatty acid prices by 2 cents a pound. The company's price raise was a result of increasing costs and declining by-product glycerin prices, effective Oct. 15. Fatty acid powder grades prices will be increased an additional 3 cents per pound, the company said.
The company's shares were trading at $8.69 a share, down 3 cents, or 0.34% Friday.
