CheckFree (CKFR) named C. Kim Goodwin to its board, replacing Lewis Levin, who resigned.
The Atlanta-based billing company said Goodwin was managing director and chief investment officer, equities of State Street Research & Management until last February.
"Kim brings an impressive track record of financial services industry success to CheckFree's Board of Directors," said CEO Pete Kight. "I believe her deep industry knowledge and management expertise will be an asset to CheckFree as we continue to advance financial electronic commerce solutions for our global customer base."
Of Levin, CheckFree said, "Lewis has been a tremendous asset to CheckFree's board over the past six years," said Kight. "I recognize the cross-country travel and increased meeting requirements has created a time conflict with his role at

On Friday, CheckFree fell 22 cents to $50.10.
