At a White House event on Friday with Charter Communications CEO Thomas Rutledge and Texas Governor Greg Abbott, President Trump said the U.S. cable operator will close its offshore call centers and move them to the U.S, Reuters noted.

Trump also said that Charter will invest $25 billion and commit to hire 20,000 workers over four years.

The company noted its plan to hire more workers last April when it was waiting on the completion of its merger with Time Warner (TWX) .

Charter is a cable operator and a broadband communications services company.
