Ceradyne Gets Army Order
Shipments are expected to start this month.
Ceradyne (CRDN) got a $70 million U.S. Army body armor order.
The Costa Mesa, Calif., maker of ceramic body armor said the contract covers new designs developed to protect the side of a soldier's torso. Ceradyne plans to start shipments this month and to complete the order next quarter.
Early Friday, Ceradyne rose $2.01 to $52.57.
