The Vernon Hills, Ill.-based company earned $77.7 million, or 98 cents a share, including 3 cents a share stock based expenses and 5 cents a share benefit from lower effective tax rate, in the third quarter, compared with earnings of $73.1 million, or 88 cents a share, in the previous year.

Analysts polled by Thomson First Call were expecting the earnings of 93 cents a share in the most recent quarter.

Third-quarter revenue rose 4.1% to $1.74 billion from a year ago. Analysts were expecting revenue of $1.76 billion in the most recent quarter.

Corporate sector revenue fell 2.5% to $1.09 billion, while public sector revenue increased 17.6% to $651.1 million.

Shares fell $3.94 to $65.34.
