Late Monday night Cardiovascular Systems (CSII) - Get Report said it is voluntarily recalling about 900 units of its 7-10014 saline infusion pump. The company determined that electromagnetic interference present in hospitals could cause the pump to switch to standby mode during use.

Patients may continue to use their current pump until a replacement arrives. Pumps included in the recall were issued between April 7, 2015 and April 4, 2017.

The company is expecting to record approximately $1.5 million of expenses in its third quarter as a result of the recall.
