Bombay stocks finished a flat session marginally lower Thursday.
The BSE Sensex dropped a point to 10,840.6.
Top Sensex gainers were

, up 3.4% on news of a settlement with Bangladesh over steel plant plans, and bank

.

were among the major losers. Power, pharma and select auto stocks also slid.
Major laggards on the BSE Sensex were
