The company delivered 70 of the 737s in the fourth quarter and 279 for the year. Boeing delivered 17 of the model 777 aircraft during the quarter and 55 for the year. The Seattle airplane and aerospace concern expects to deliver 530 planes in 2001 and again in 2002.

expect Boeing to earn 91 cents in the fourth quarter, up from 74 cents in the year-ago period.
