Outlook Group (OUTL) signed a 10-year insertion and mail coordination agreement with Madison Direct Marketing of Stamford, Conn.

Outlook Group will provide insertion and mail coordination for Madison Direct's marketing programs, as well as short-run printing and inventory management. Madison Direct uses life-stage databases and marketing vehicles to help leading consumer companies reach their target audiences. Based on currently expected volume, sales under the contract are valued at an estimated $1.5 million per year.

In connection with the agreement, Outlook Group has purchased a one-of-a-kind Buhrs custom intelligent collator that performs high-volume match-mailing functions that include making the envelope, selecting and inserting the correct pieces and personalizing each mailing. At 90 yards long, the equipment is believed to be one of the longest multi-station intelligent insertion collators in the world. The collator is scheduled to be installed in January, with production expected to begin in February.
