said Monday third-quarter earnings rose 16% as sales increased 37% on the acquisition of
Honeywell's

consumables solutions distribution business and solid organic revenue growth in its distribution and business jet segments.
The company, a maker of aircraft cabin interior products, said earnings excluding certain costs were $56.6 million, or 59 cents a share. Analysts surveyed by
Thomson Reuters
expected B/E to earn 53 cents a share.
Sales in the quarter rose to $588 million from $428 million a year earlier, the company said in a press release Monday.
B/E said it expects 2008 earnings of $2.19 a share excluding certain costs totaling about 9 cents a share. Analysts estimate 2008 earnings of $2.13 a share. The company expects 2009 adjusted earnings of about $2 a share.
