, a provider of risk management and insurance broking services, said its third-quarter earnings fell 0.6% from the year-ago period.
The company earned $50.2 million, or 51 cents a share, in the quarter, compared with $50.5 million or 52 cents a share, a year ago.
Third-quarter revenue rose 8.03% from a year ago to $421.2 million.
By segment, third-quarter earning for brokerage segment increased by 12.36% from a year ago to $60 million. Risk management segment revenue increased by 12.73% to $18.6 million and financial services segment reported loss of $17.8 million as against loss of $4.3 million a year ago.
The company's shares were trading up 40 cents, or 1.5%, at $27.21 Wednesday.
