CEO William E. Mitchell was elected Wednesday to the serve as chairman of the electronics firm, replacing Daniel W. Duval.
Mitchell joined the Melville, N.Y.-based company in February 2003 as president and chief executive officer. Duval will continue as lead director and be responsible for serving as chairman of meetings of independent directors and will continue working on corporate governance issues.
Arrow's stock closed Wednesday down 40 cents, or 1.11%, at $35.75.
