Apple (AAPL - Get Report)  is expected to announce the launch of several new iPhone models and other upgraded products at its usual event in mid-September, Bloomberg and others reported on Thursday.

Wall Street is buzzing about the possible announcement of two or even three new "Pro" models of the iPhone with enhanced camera features and a new version of the iPhone XR, as well as revised AirPods, iPads and a large 16-inch MacBook Pro. The new products should hit the markets a couple of weeks after the announcement, according to Bloomberg.

The latest high-end iPhones, which would succeed the XS and XS Max models released last year, will get a new wide-angle camera, sensors with a larger field of view and photos with higher resolution, Bloomberg said.

Apple is also expected to upgrade its popular AirPods to have water resistance and noise cancellation features, and to increase their price from the current $159. At the same time, Apple is expected to introduce a new version of its Home Pod smart speaker that will cost less than their current $299 in an attempt to boost sales, Fox reported.

The larger iPads (11 to 12.9 inches) will get better cameras and quicker processors. And Fox said the Apple Watch will receive software updates.

Apple's stock was trading at $212.42, off 0.10%, heading into the afternoon on Thursday. Shares are up almost 35% year to date.
