If you were perusing through the Apple (AAPL) - Get Apple Inc. Report website you may or may not have noticed that the tech giant has taken down the sites for both the iPod Nano and the iPod Shuffle.

The last installment of iPods that do not connect to the Internet have gone the way of the iPod Classic, discontinued in 2014.

"Today, we are simplifying our iPod lineup with two models of iPod touch now with double the capacity starting at just $199 and we are discontinuing the iPod shuffle and iPod Nano," Apple said in a statement, according to Bloomberg.
