Russia's ProfMedia and DST, and China's Tencent have placed firm bids to purchase AOL's instant-messaging service ICQ, reports say.
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Russia's ProfMedia and DST, and China's Tencent have placed firm bids to purchase AOL's (AOL) instant-messaging service ICQ, Reuters reports, citing Russian business daily Vedomosti.
ICQ is worth up to $300 million,

says.
AOL, spun off from
Time Warner
(TWX)
in December, is in the process of putting non-core assets up for sale.
