Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) - Get Report was downgraded to market perform from outperform by FBR Capital Markets, which said that brand turnaround may be pushed out and the company is facing increased international competition.
Apollo (APOL) was downgraded to underperform from neutral by Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, which set a $14 price target, saying the company is facing another transition year.
Biocryst (BCRX) - Get Report was upgraded to buy from neutral by Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, which set a $19 price target, saying Biocryst's new drug is more likely to be approved and would drive future growth.
Intersect (XENT) - Get Report was started at buy by Cantor Fitzgerald, which set a $35 price target, saying the company is unique in offering products to comprehensively treat sinusitis by opening, medicating and maintaining the sinus channels.
Lowe's (LOW) - Get Report was upgraded to outperform from market perform by BMO Capital, which set an $81 price target. Estimates have also been increased, given higher expected economic activity in the Southeast, BMO said.
MBIA (MBI) - Get Report was downgraded to neutral from buy by MKM Partners, which set an $8 price target, saying that MBI, along with AGO, has $2.5 billion in Puerto Rico debt service exposure through 2020. Analysts still see value in the shares, though the near term could be volatile.
