American Idol

" is a trending search topic today as the popular singing contest series enters the second week of its tenth season.

The show's tenth season premiere saw its

total average viewership drop 13% to 26.1 million

on Jan. 19, down from the 29.9 million viewers who tuned in to the ninth season opener. Many critics attribute the ratings decline to the news judge's panel.

When Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi announced that they would be leaving the show last year, Fox chose Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez to join Randy Jackson at the judge's table.

"OPM" is a heavily searched topic today after the Office of Personnel Management granted federal employees in the Washington D.C. area permission to leave work two hours early on Wednesday due to inclement weather.

Non-emergency workers have been dismissed two hours early, while any emergency or "essential" personnel must stay through their normal hours.
