American Eagle Outfitters
( AEOS) will sell underwear called aerie, aimed at 15- to 25-year-olds.
The underwear will be sold in select stand-alone shops in malls and at shops within, or adjacent to, existing American Eagle stores. The assortment will include a complete line of bras, panties, and dormwear and will be rolled out this fall.
The company also plans this fall to launch Martin + OSA, a sportswear chain aimed at 25-to-40-year-old women and men.
The shares of the company are trading at $25.82, down by 16 cents.
