Alphabet/Google First-Quarter Earnings Live Blog

Google parent Alphabet Inc. reports its first-quarter earnings after the close on Monday, and investors will have a few things to chew over. Among them are whether Alphabet's traffic-acquisition costs (TAC) are continuing to grow and eat into margins, the latest trends with its Search and YouTube businesses and the impact of several  accounting changes Alphabet is making.

Eric Jhonsa, TheStreet's tech columnist, will be live blogging the company's earnings, providing instant reactions to Alphabet's quarterly report when they're released shortly after the market's close. The company's earnings call is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET. Please share your questions and comments in the space at the top of the blog window.
