are calling for the Abbott Park, Ill., maker of pharmaceuticals and medical devices to earn 45 cents in the second quarter. Analysts projected earnings of $1.88 a share for the full year. The company posted income of 44 cents in the year-ago second quarter and $1.78 for last year.
Abbott made the comments, which reaffirmed the company's prior guidance, at a meeting with analysts in New York.
