The elite of Silicon Valley, Hollywood and American industry in general relocate to Sun Valley, Idaho, from July 11 to 16 for the annual summit sponsored by New York investment bank Allen & Co.

The yearly tribute to power and influence may be a breeding ground for deals among media, telecom and tech bosses such as Facebook (FB) - Get Facebook, Inc. Class A Report CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Apple's  (AAPL) - Get Apple Inc. (AAPL) Report  Tim Cook, Amazon (AMZN) - Get, Inc. Report founder Jeff Bezos, Tesla's (TSLA) - Get Tesla Inc Report Elon Musk, Fox (FOXA) - Get Fox Corporation Class A Report  patriarch Rupert Murdoch and cable baron John Malone.

Aside from deals, the execs get the chance to discuss the changes that have shaken up video and advertising, the crossover between telecom and technology and how to navigate the politics of M&A during the Trump administration.

Here are some of the key personalities expected in Sun Valley next week and some of the deals they may be looking to make.
