Samsung (SSNLF) said its long-delayed Galaxy Fold will finally be available on Sept. 6 in South Korea. The Fold will be released in France, Germany, Singapore, and the U.K. on Sept. 18, according to CNBC, but no specific date has been given for its release in the U.S.

The innovative high-end smartphone features multiple screens that can be combined into a single tablet screen when folded open and will cost 2,000 euros ($2,208) in Europe. The device was originally slated to be released in April, but that was delayed when multiple press reviewers for the device experienced problems with the screens breaking and cracking in a public relations disaster for Samsung.

"During the past several months, Samsung has been refining the Galaxy Fold to ensure it delivers the best possible experience," Samsung said in a press release. "Not only [have] we improved the Galaxy Fold's design and construction, but also took the time to rethink the entire consumer journey."
