Rite Aid Sales Fall in January
Rite Aid sales slip 2.1% in January, as both of its divisions struggle.

sales sank yet again in January, with both its prescription and non-pharmacy businesses suffering.
Comparable sales for Rite Aid fell 2.1%, with both divisions also dropping 2.1%.
Rite Aid said its pharmacy business was hurt by the introduction of new generic drugs. The drugstore filled 1.1% fewer prescriptions during the month.
Shares of Rite Aid are nearly flat at $1.38.
