If you are in Canada, feel free to light up because recreational cannabis is officially legal in the U.S.'s neighbor to the north. 

Recreational cannabis became legal in Canada Wednesday, Oct. 17, opening up a huge market for cannabis companies looking to sell their products. 

During the run-up to legalization, pot stocks have been some of the hottest on the market. But Wednesday's coronation has been met with a sharp pullback.
