When Palo Alto Networks takes the stage Wednesday, analysts are expecting the security-software company to report earnings of 25 cents a share on revenue of $256.25 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015. TheStreet's Jim Cramer said the company is "the premiere cybersecurity" stock.
"It's really important that Palo Alto blow in numbers and give very good earnings guidance because that had been a leadership group that we had lost and we gotta find it again because tech doesn't have leaders," Cramer said.
In addition to earnings, key economic data are set to be released. On Wednesday, we get a reading on MBA mortgage applications, a leading indicator for single-family home sales and housing construction. Also, the job openings report comes out, giving us more clues on the health of the labor market.
Then on Thursday, we get weekly jobless claims and import and export prices. Finally, we end the week with the producer price index (PPI) from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. That measures the average change over time in the prices received by domestic producers of goods and services.
