winners Monday, jumping 14% after the candy and gum maker named a new CEO and posted better-than-expected third-quarter results.

Wrigley named former

executive William Perez president and chief executive. The hiring marks the first time that Wrigley has gone outside of the family for one of its top positions. Bill Wrigley Jr., who had served as CEO since 1999, will remain as chairman.

Separately, the company said it earned $148 million, or 53 cents a share, in the third quarter. The results included a restructuring charge of 2 cents a share. Analysts polled by Thomson First Call expected earnings of 51 cents a share. Revenue totaled $1.18 billion, compared with analysts' forecast of $1.15 billion. During the year-earlier period, Wrigley earned $129.7 million, or 46 cents a share, on revenue of $1.06 billion. Shares were trading up $6.59 to $53.42.

Hasbro

(HAS) - Get Hasbro, Inc. (HAS) Report

climbed 3% after the toymaker posted better-than-expected third-quarter results. The company earned $99.6 million, or 58 cents a share, on revenue of $1.04 billion. Analysts expected earnings of 50 cents a share on revenue of $963.4 million. During the year-earlier quarter, the company earned $92.1 million, or 47 cents a share, on revenue of $988.1 million. Shares were up 79 cents to $24.09.

rose 2% after the oil services company's third-quarter results beat analysts' forecasts. The company earned $234.2 million, or 66 cents a share, on revenue of $1.7 billion. Analysts expected earnings of 65 cents a share and revenue of $1.69 billion. During the year-earlier period, Weatherford earned $47.9 million, or 15 cents a share, on revenue of $1.08 billion. Excluding items, year-ago earnings were $117.6 million, or 37 cents a share. Shares were adding 93 cents to $41.98.

Xerox

(XRX) - Get Xerox Holdings Corporation (XRX) Report

rose 1% after the copier and printer maker posted third-quarter results that topped Wall Street's estimates. The company earned $536 million, or 54 cents a share. Excluding certain items, Xerox earned $228 million, or 23 cents a share, beating analysts' per-share estimate by a penny. Revenue totaled $3.84 billion, compared with analysts' forecast of $3.82 billion. A year earlier, the company posted adjusted earnings of $188 million, or 18 cents a share, on revenue of $3.76 billion.

For the fourth quarter, Xerox sees adjusted earnings of 34 cents to 37 cents a share. Analysts project earnings of 37 cents a share. Xerox shares were trading up 23 cents to $16.23.

fell 2% after the furniture retailer posted disappointing first-quarter results. For the period ended Sept. 30, the company earned $8.5 million, or 26 cents a share, on revenue of $242.8 million. Excluding items, the company earned $17.2 million, or 53 cents a share. Analysts expected earnings of 55 cents a share on revenue of $246.6 million. A year earlier, Ethan Allen earned $17.1 million, or 49 cents a share, on revenue of $251.3 million. Excluding items, year-ago earnings were $19.7 million, or 57 cents a share. Shares were trading down 83 cents to $34.72.

dropped 5% after the uranium producer said production at its Cigar Lake mine will be delayed by at least a year because of water inflow following a rock fall. The company said the rock fall, which occurred Sunday, allowed a portion of the underground development to fill with water. Production startup at the project, located in northern Saskatchewan, previously was planned for early 2008. Given the expected delay in construction, the capital cost is expected to be significantly higher, Cameco said. Shares of the company were down $1.73 to $36.38.
