Remembering Brian Goldner and the Legacy He Leaves at Hasbro

Hasbro  (HAS)  chairman and CEO Brian Goldner has died at 58 after leading the company for more than a decade. He started with the company in 2000 and had served as CEO since 2008.

Goldner was at the helm during the most pivotal period in the company's history. Hasbro makes many of the most popular toys and games such as Monopoly, My Little Pony, and has since expanded into entertainment brands, including Marvel, Star Wars, and others. 

Under Goldner's guidance, Hasbro increased its catalog of products to over 1700 brands and acquired the film studio Entertainment One in 2019.
