DoorDash Inc., a food delivery startup, is being valued at $6 billion in its latest funding round, according to a published report.
The startup is in the process of raising $500 million to bulk up in its battle with competitors in the space, which include Uber and Grub Hub, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The Singapore state investment firm is seen leading the round, the paper reported, citing an unnamed source.
Softbank Group Corp. invested in the company in March of 2018. DoorDash has also reached agreements with Walmart (WMT) to develop grocery delivery services, according to the report.
