J.B. Hunt's stock price fell 1.29% to $106.72 after Susquehanna downgraded shares of the trucking company to neutral from positive.
The Lowell, Ark.-based company is struggling with a downturn in volume and pricing challenges involving both its rail partners and its customers, analysts at Susquehanna wrote.
J.B. Hunt is set to report its third-quarter earnings Oct. 15.
The forecast for the trucking and logistics company's earnings are $1.42 a share, a decline of 3.4% from the same period the year before, according to analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research.
J.B. Hunt's revenue is expected to rise 5.8% during the third quarter to $2.34 billion, according to Zacks.
