NEW YORK (
has announced the latest version of its iPad tablet.
The company unveiled the product at a media event Wednesday at the Yuerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
The new version of the iPad will have Retina Display, LTE capabilities, a Quad-core A5X processor, voice dictation, a high-resolution iSight camera. The display will feature 3.1 million pixels. The product will go on sale on March 16.
Apple also announced a new version of its set top box, Apple TV. It will come with 1080p support. It also announced a new version of its operating system, iOS 5.1.
Apple shares slipped $1.23 to $529.03 in recent trades.
