Alphabet (GOOGL) - Get Report  shares were falling a little over 1% on Monday after the close after the tech giant reported earnings that missed analysts' estimates, although revenues beat expectations.

For the third quarter, Alphabet reported earnings per share of $10.12 vs. estimates of $12.42, while revenues of $40.499 billion, including traffic-acquisition costs (TAC) beat a $40.31 billion consensus. Earnings per share was hurt by accounting charges, however.

TheStreet's tech columnist, Eric Jhonsa, is analyzing the company's earnings report and call with analysts that's scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. ET. To submit questions, please sign in at the top of the chat window and type in your question.
