
Ford Recalls Another 4.5 Million Cars

is recalling another 4.5 million vehicles due to a defective cruise control switch that could cause a fire, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Tuesday -- news that sent shares of the company falling just prior to the closing bell.
The stock finished at $7.62, after shedding more than 20 cents in late-afternoon trading.
The list includes cars and trucks between 1992 and 2003, including 1.1 million Windstar minivan and Explorer SUV.
This is the company's seventh recall due to the
