Internet Infrastructure HOLDRs
( IIH) ETF was one of the best performers Wednesday, a day after holding
( BEAS) said its long-term revenue growth target was sustainable through 2008. BEA was trading up 7.2%, boosting the ETF by 19 cents, or 3.6%, to $5.47.
PowerShares Dynamic Software
ETF was another strong gainer, recently up 55 cents, or 3.1%, to $18.42.
, one of the ETF's major holdings, surged 11.5% after its quarterly results beat Wall Street's forecast.
In addition, the
iShares Goldman Sachs Software Index
was rising by 2.9% to $43.71, and the
ETF was gaining 2.3% to $38.79, both thanks to Oracle's advance.
PowerShares Dynamic Retail
ETF was also among winners, up 2.4% to $18.10. Major holding
rose 3.2% after rival
reported a higher quarterly profit thanks to strong demand in flat-screen TVs.
Meanwhile, ETFs related to oil services were among the weakest performers Wednesday, as oil prices sank under $61 a barrel.

ETF was dropping 1.4% to $18.24. The
iShares Dow Jones U.S. Oil & Gas Exploration Index
ETF was losing 1.2% to $44.16. The
Energy Select Sector SPDR
ETF was lower by 1% to $51.79.
