Exchange-traded funds tracking homebuilders were among the best performers of Tuesday's session after
indicated it believes the worst of the housing sector's softness is over.
iShares Dow Jones U.S. Home Construction
ETF was higher by 2.6% at $43.27. The
ETF was adding 2.2% to $38.02. The
PowerShares Dynamic Building & Construction
ETF was tacking on 1.2% to $16.78.
ETF was also one of the winners, as
were higher by 3.7% or more.
The Broadband HOLDRs ETF was recently adding 38 cents, or 2.4%, to $16.32.
On the flip side, ETFs related to metals were lower as both gold and silver futures finished with losses. The

ETF was recently down 2.2% to $137.77. The
Market Vector Gold Miners
ETF was lower by 1.1% to $41.62. The
streetTRACKS Gold Shares
ETF was off by 0.6% to $63.71.
Also among losers, the
Internet Infrastructure HOLDRs
ETF was lower by 0.7% due to holding
. The stock fell 1.8% after the company said it would restate financial results due to a stock options grant probe. The ETF was down by 25 cents to $13.76.
