reported third-quarter results that beat estimates. The
ETF was gaining 2% to $30.81, and the
iShares Dow Jones U.S. Home Construction
ETF was higher by 0.9% to $34.43.
PowerShares Lux Nanotech
ETF was another of Thursday's few winners, as major holding
surged 12%. The ETF was higher by 24 cents, or 1.4%, to $17.58.
Elsewhere, the session's worst performers were related to precious metals, as gold and silver futures sank. The
iShares Silver Trust
ETF was dropping $4.08, or 3.1%, to $125.80. The
iShares COMEX Gold
ETF was losing $1.52, or 2.4%, to $61.39, and the
streetTRACKS Gold Shares
ETF was down $1.45, or 2.3%, to $61.41.
ETF was another loser, as holdings
all sank by 1.4% or more.
The Broadband HOLDRs ETF was recently down 25 cents, or 1.5%, to $16.34.
B2B Internet HOLDRs
ETF was lower as both
dropped 2%. The ETF was off 1% to $2.01.
