On Monday it was revealed via a new SEC filing that Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Inc. (TSLA) , purchased 33,000 shares of his company.

The shares were bought at an average of $298.50, which calculates out to be $9.85 million. This purchase follows Tesla's bizarre earnings call last week where Musk dismissed Wall Street analysts in favor of a young Youtuber who owned 50 shares.

Tesla shares were up 2.95% on Monday, hitting $302 per share.
