From hats, to flamethrowers and now to an almost completed tunnel for Elon Musk's Boring Company, according to a tweet from its CEO.
The mercurial head of Tesla Inc. (TSLA - Get Report) announced on Twitter that his Boring Company was close to completing its first high-speed transit tunnel under suburb Hawthorne in the Los Angeles area.

The tunnel, which the company said previously was a "test tunnel," will run between Hawthorne, downtown Los Angeles, and Torrance. The tunnel is designed to carry passengers underground at speeds of up to 150 mph.
