is upping its game.
The skate- and surf-inspired retailer raised its third-quarter profit guidance, citing better-than-expected sales and product margins.
The company now expects to earn 12 cents to 14 cents a share, up from a prior forecast of 5 cents to 7 cents a share. Wall Street analysts were expecting Zumiez earn 9 cents a share in the quarter.
Zumiez expects same-store sales to tumble in the high single digits to low double digits. As of Sept. 26, same-store sales were down 7.7%.
